Known for her inclusive leadership, Amber brings a unique blend of skills to ignite collaboration in and around open source AI. She actively seeks opportunities to empower individuals and organizations to leverage open technologies, believing that "Community is the strategy" for driving innovation in the AI era.
I believe that applying the principles of open source software to the AI/ML landscape will drive true innovation and build cohesive teams. By applying lessons learned in communities like Ubuntu and OCP, I help traditionally closed organizations learn to openly collaborate within the AI ecosystem.
"My vision for AMLC of the Rockies is to build a living, year-round community at the heart of the machine learning ecosystem and its adjacent technologies where people actually do the work together building, learning, mentoring, and sharing openly. I want it to be welcoming and inclusive without losing technical depth, grounded in real-world impact, ethics, and execution across ML, AI, data, and emerging platforms. Less hype, more substance. Less gatekeeping, more pull up a chair."
Amber specializes in identifying continuous change actions to reduce cost, enhance quality, and increase margins within technical organizations. She helps organizations find the balance between differentiation and collaboration in an open ecosystem, reminding everyone that there is a place for every skill level in open communities.
