Chase founded AMLC to create the kind of community he wished existed—a place where AI/ML practitioners could move beyond surface-level networking and dive into real, hands-on collaboration. Having seen the power of community-driven learning through his work with Kubeflow and open-source projects, he wanted to build a local hub where people could grow their skills together, tackle real problems, and create lasting professional relationships. The vision is simple: make Denver/Boulder the place where AI talent is cultivated, not just recruited.
What energizes Chase most is exchanging ideas, learning from others' challenges, and sharing knowledge that turns ambitious ideas into secure, high-impact solutions. As a Kubestronaut and community builder with the AMLC of the Rockies, he believes the best breakthroughs happen when people learn and build together.
In his role as a Principal Customer Engineer at Wiz, Chase partners with organizations to fortify their AI/ML platforms against evolving threats while enabling high-velocity innovation. His goal is to help teams focus on solving meaningful problems rather than cleaning up after misconfiguration misfires or dispelling noisy alerts.
Chase envisions AMLC as a hands-on, community-led space where AI/ML practitioners grow together. Think of it as the farm team for AI talent—a modern guild where newcomers, journeymen, and experts develop their craft, support each other, and work on real problems.
Starting hyper-local in Denver/Boulder, the goal is to create a strong, trusted network where people can upskill, founders can find real talent, and hiring one person gives you the collective experience of many. From that foundation, the community will expand to other regions.
