Carl is a curious problem solver with a background spanning enterprise IT and consulting. Outside of work, Carl is an avid DIYer who enjoys endurance sports, skiing, and spending time in the mountains.
Carl joined AMLC to connect with others working on real-world AI and ML problems and to learn from practitioners building useful systems. He is especially interested in exchanging ideas around applied AI, architecture, and the infrastructure behind production-scale ML.
Carl's work is centered on cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and the systems that support scalable AI workloads. He is particularly interested in how organizations design reliable, production-grade environments for AI and ML.
His background in enterprise IT and consulting gives him a practical lens on balancing technical ambition with operational reality. Lately, he has been especially interested in AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and applied machine learning at scale.
